OMG it’s been monthss wutt. I’ve missed this space too much and all of you guys (sigh)
Thank you to everyone who checked on me during my absent period. I finally moved and I’m settled.
This post is a little long but please read to the end 😄
From my last post, I told you guys I had to change schools and all. So yeah, I moved to Manila City in Manila State, which is the capital and transferred to a new school(which is x2 the price of my former school but God dey). Its the real city life here uno, more like Lagos hustle. The traffic is worst! Like I spend almost 2hrs going back home from school (journey that’s supposed to be 20mins drive) all because city and it’s over populated and I have to leave an hour earlier in the morning just to get to school on time (no more sleep).
Ayee my new house is pretty also (no pictures sorry, Lol) & there’s a swimming pool in my condo (i didn’t have that in my former house so I’m gassed bout that one, though I’ve still not used it since I moved because school work). The school is more hectic (I sleep at most 5hrs/day because sleep is luxury when studying medicine, tsk).
But More Importantly
Not only did i move, Official Fantasy has been moved. Lol wait I’m not quitting blogging (can’t ) I’ve just upgraded (that sounded funny in my head) . You guys know I keep talking about rebranding and blabla… so, while I was away I was working on that (I can’t just leave you guys and not come back with something) and my baby is finally here!!!
It was a hard decision knowing that I’ll be starting from scratch again, loosing followers (but you guys will follow me na plix) and more. But a lady gotta do what she gotta do. So please come on this journey with meeeehhh
I moved to Toyin’ With Fashion .
You know because my last name is Toyin and I’m Toying with fashion (see what I did there) haha. This is going to be amazing. I’ve been working on this for months now and I’m happy with the outcome. I will be giving a weekly dose on Fashion, Lifestyle and/or Health (being a medical student, it would only be right to be share health tips as I learn them, I mean let’s be healthy together yes?) every other week so please subscribeeeeee… lol
Its been a journey on here and I can’t wait to continue with you on http://www.toyinwithfashion.com
Its July already can you believe that?? Happy New Month and I hope this month brings blessings for us all.
So since I’ll be out of the blogging scene for a while I thought it would be proper to update rather than disappear into thin air. Yeah sad news.
So I school at Southwestern University College of Medicine, Cebu Philippines and at the moment the school is having legal issues. (Problems of schools owned by a family) In short form, the owners of College of Medicine(family members) are having a feud with each other hence they separated into two schools and each fighting for the ownership of the medical licence issued to the school ages before I was born.
The half I happened to stay with which everybody knows is the rightful owner of the licence are done lost the case (Lol it’s still in court but yeah they done for the main time….corruption is everywhere bruhh)
So I’m pretty occupied trying to
•Transfer to a different school (as advised by the commission of Higher Education plus immigration won’t do our visas if i stay in my school and nobody trying to be illegal)
• in a different state (cause all d Med schools in my state have resumed for the new school year long time)
•find a new house and move all my things to the new state, which is not quite easy considering I’m also moving furniture…uno literally the whole house.
•Getting all my documents from my now former school (because they are wanting to be slow with things)
•reading in the midst of this mess (because u can’t just transfer to another school without them checking if your grades are really yours)
I’ve pretty much spent my time since I got back in June travelling from one city to another applying in different schools, wasting money in hotel, looking like a skrep, photocopying my whole existence and the likes.
I’ve finally settled in on a school and hope it all works out. Somebody pray for me.
So yeah, hopefully when I’m fully settled in I would be able to bounce back to the blogging life!! But I’ll keep checking up on your blogs so keep the amazing posts coming plixx!!
What a way to enter the new month! There has to be a blessing in disguise, I’ve just not seen it yet.

HAPPY 2ND BLOGIVERSARY TO ME AYEEEE!!!!!!! *dances shoki*
It’s been 2 years of playing dress-up, connecting with beautiful people, talking life and its challenges!! Ok maybe not two years exactly since i was missing a couple of times but ayee i’ll eat a cupcake to my hard work and your support!
As i’m sure many wouldn’t know, i once used to run a blog with my best friend Oprah Morgridge (she made me mention her name tsk) called “STYLEISOURS” but she decided to now open this blog for me (without my request of cause) and just sent me my password and i’m like bruhhh? what is wrong with you? Came up with so many excuses e.g no time, no good camera, bla and blah but in summary i decided to take it up and here i am!
2 years later, I’ve made a good number of friends, made beautiful pictures lol and bought more clothes (don’t lie you’ve at least bought something just because it would look good for a blog post). It feels like yesterday and i’m still a learner but i’ve come this far. First grateful to God, secondly to Oprah for being such a force and last but not least to all of you readers! You guys have made it all worthwhile.
Now i go back to the drawing board, pulling down and bringing up things to create a better blogging experience for you and i.
A selfie or two don’t hurt nobody!!!lol Enjoy the rest of the week and ohh, my last full week in Nigeria 😦

It’s a really simple outfit. Sleeveless suit (It’s a top made like a one piece bathing suit, can’t remember what the style is called but yeah you catch my drift), my super comfortable harem pants and Parisian Sandals. And I’m ready to go.
What do you guys think?;);)
Plus any ideas of fun places to go in Lagos??? Thanks in advance. 😘

How are y’all doing? Before anything I’ld like to say a BIG thank you to all of you that hop on my blog every time!! The outpour of love has been so unreal sometimes i want to think issalie but i get alert (notification) so Godwin!! There is a secret spill at the end of the post;)
Onto today’s post.
My whatsapp status most times is always this quote below (because I barely read people’s statuses so I assume everyone is like me + no energy)
Reduce emotional and intellectual noise until you arrive at the silence of yourself, then listen to it.
I can’t remember where I found this quote from but it’s just forever deep (I think).
What do you really think of yourself?
let’s talk about me for a second
*but really we stay winning*
People who have known me since way back know I always did a “fringe” or “bangs” every time I made my hair. Why? You must already know – That glorious forehead of mine has a way of stealing the attention off me.
When I’m stressed, my veins pop out and then people be like “OMG Lade are you alright? What’s going on with you..that can’t be normal”. And I’m just like can you shut up please? Smh
I’m the official president of the itty bitty titty community (any members here?? Wave your hands like you just don’t care)
people goats have told me to my face that I’m not a real woman (I’m not even kidding ).
All these to say the least about perfect imperfect fleek (I had to) self. I would also think on all these things and just
hate dislike these parts of me.
This was the norm until I realised that the root of this is was wanting to be accepted by others and well that’s just wrong. That’s how my journey of self love started. I’m currently on top of that and I think I’m a little obsessed with myself. LOL
Here are a few things that have helped me to silence the negative and just love up.
1. Focus on your many positive qualities.
Focus on your strengths, your abilities, and your admirable traits. Let go of harsh judgments, comparisons to others, and self-hatred.
When you can see yourself as the soulful person you are, the damaging internal dialogue doesn’t hold up.
2. Feel the love within you and be that love.
Spend more time focusing on self-love. You can try loving and positive affirmations. Nourish your soul through a love-kindness meditation that help you feel compassion towards yourself.
I tell myself how amazing I am too often. No it’s not weird.
3. Give yourself a break.
You’re not perfect. No one is. You don’t have to be at the top of your game every day. No one is happy all the time. No one loves themselves always. No one lives without pain. Embrace your imperfections and excuse your bad days. Don’t set such high standards for yourself emotionally and mentally. It’s normal to feel sadness and pain and to hit some low points in life.
Prior to my current hair (the curly weave in these pictures), I can’t remember when last I did bangs…In other news, my forehead be slaying!
4. Embrace yourself.
Are you content being alone by yourself without feelings of anxiety, fear, and judgment? You may have to go within and seek solace in yourself to be comfortable in your own skin. Practice moments of alone time and be aware of how you treat yourself.Learn to embrace solitude and allow yourself to be mindful of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about yourself.
The way I enjoy my me time is unexplainable. I literally don’t want no disturbance.
Sharing your feelings with supportive friends may also help you be more aware of who you are.
The process of loving yourself starts with understanding your true nature.
So make a conscious decision today to love yourself because 👇
PS: My hair here is a wig i made myself!!! And I’m def making more wigs because really, I’ve been enjoying having my hair breathe at the days end.
now the secret. OK it’s not actually a secret but you know the way we Nigerians are set up? Everybody travels lowkey…. all on top say make witches no plan for you Lmao but being the daughter of the Most High, Ain’t got no worries *swerve*
Anyway I’m going to Lagos about a week agoooooo 💃💃💃. I’m so excited because I was almost not going to go again but Godwin 😂😂 I can’t wait to meet so many people in real life( OK I can wait, sometimes I’m shy)
That’s it for today!! *whew* Until next time beautiful people. Stay loved up.;)❤

Hope this post meets you well! How did your week go/any turnups for the weekend? I plan on going to watch Fast & Furious 7 that everyone has been crying about.(most of my friends said they cried at the end…idk). My week was stress free and was kind of sick yesterday but it’s alright now.
Switch up to today’s post, these are some of the products I recently bought and have been
using abusing because I’ve seen the effects almost instantly..no kidding!
1. Dark and Lovely Anti-Breakage Oil Moisturiser
This oil moisturiser is formulated with wheat germ oil and reparative Ceramide. It’s made to repair fragile and breaking hair Which very much defines my hair. I never want to comb my hair inside my house because the amount of hair that breaks out is ridiculous…. but since I started using this ( mum sent it to me from Nigeria because it’s not available here) , I’ve noticed a great amount of change!!! Less hair on the comb after combing, the softness and shine is amazing. This is definitely a must try/have if you have bad breakage.
2. Mondes Professional Hair Vitamin Morocco Argan
Because I’m on a journey to healthy hair and glowing skin… it’s been pointed everywhere that argan oil is good for the hair/skin so I decided to give it a try and OMG I’m loving it. I use it for my hair and also as a moisturiser for my face. Is not everyday something sha. ..Lol cause it’s only 10 capsules in the bottle but Yeah ultra smooth skin I have now.;)
3. Mondes Professional Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Masque
It contains vitamin E and essential oils that help to reduce frizz and dryness. It really does moisturize my hair nicely. I forgot to take a picture of the inside but it’s white and has some tiny dots (i dont know what that is) which dissolve as you apply on your hair. Its consistency is also not too thick and not too light either. I use it after shampooing my hair….leave on for 5-10mins and rinse off. The smell is great and not costly. I can’t remember how much I bought it for but sure if it was costly I wouldn’t have bought it…lol
4. Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Wash with Dermaclear Formula
OK this is actually the first time I’m having pimples…Lol and it isn’t even like an outbreak or whatever. I woke up and found 1 pimple around my chin and bruhhh the way I’m so used to my fresh face(don’t judge me)… it bugged me. While shopping, I found so many pimple wash and all but the prices ehn? Like it is just pimple I want to treat not disease. I finally found this facial wash at the most reasonable price (about $2) and after browsing on the spot to check reviews (this saves me from buying bad products) I bought it. It was like magic… the pimple went ohh I’m not even kidding and lately I’ve been having a few more here and there on my face but this facial wash is true to it’s name – “fighting”. I use it everyday before bed and sometimes it dries my face a little too much but moisturiser is there to save me. The smell is good and the packaging is really portable as you can see. It also does take off makeup very well.
5. LaSplash Smitten Mousse Liptint in Inflamed
Last but definitely not least. This is the BEST red lippie I have in my life right now. It liquid but dries matte as soon as you put it. This lippie brightens up my day and the way your lips just look beat for daysss! The staying power is also amazing. Eat, drink, do whatever it is still right there in all it’s glory. I literally have to scrub it off every time I use it. It slays MAC’s Ruby woo idc 🙅🙅 I bought it from an instagram store here in Cebu, Philippines that sells cosmetics from US that is really not available here. Went for about $11. I’m definitely getting more of their lippies cause matte and me are like 5&6. You can check their IG – @lasplashcosmetics
That’s What was used here
And here. Ohh btw we should connect on snapchat yeah? ;);) – Muuchinto
That’s all for now. So have you tried any of these products? Or do you know any great substitute for any of them? Please let me know in the comment box below.
Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Officially my first style post for the Year guyss!! Woosh *doing a little spin*
Let me tell you my story real quick Yeah? So I was in the battle of What to wear, I mean I had to come up with something you know; worth a read. Who ever said blogging was easy? Sigh Then that whole process of scattering your entire closet and urghh I hate being a mess about things. So I picked up a couple of items I have bought since only God knows when and left them to sort themselves out on how they will all work together (because I let my clothes talk to each other L O L ). I had a perfect plan but double checking a million plus one times changed that and here we are.
3 Skirts? Another story.
I bought the black&White Midi skirt at this random store along with a printed White & black shirt and had the plan to wear them together because monochrome always slays yes? But guys this skirt is L size & i never had the perfect occasion to wear them to so I locked them up in my box of newbies (who else has that box? Or am I weird?). Then my “blouse” is not a blouse… SHOCKER ALERT!!! it’s a peplum skirt… I know, can you believe that?…because I still haven’t got a peplum top my perfect size (no I’m not joking, shopping is not even that fun for skinny girls, we barely find anything that you don’t have to “slim-fit” tsk tsk, rant for another day). I plan on styling it as a skirt also, Wait for it. Where is the last skirt? It’s under the monochrome skirt because large size skirts need an extra puff to suit well on a size 0 *walks away*
I found these cars randomly and talk about perfection? Haha
Fashi the posing ehn,the sun was so hot?.
I play too much
I was dancing shoki here.. like my shoki is THE baddest don’t even mess!!

Reminder: Ticket Giveaway from my last post is still on. If you miss it, i pocket my money. Lol but seriously, check it out!
“Because, reader, you are a mortal, you will find your self at different seasons in your life. At one point, you’ll stand on the podiums bathing in the success of good seasons, and at others you’ll bang your head in bewilderment of a bad choice, a bad call, or just the winds of life… silent in the empty darkness of losing.” – Kirk Franklin
We’ve all had high and equally low moments but the key in living through both of these moments is to continue to BELIEVE AND WORK IN YOUR SLAY.
You must be wondering why you are to stay working when you already won? Everything in life has seasons, so while you’re basking in the glory of your success, other people are working on theirs and you know there’s nothing more painful than your shine taken off you and you undoubtedly know that you are to blame. And in the face of loose, stay believing. Every closed door is an indicator of a greater door so don’t relent because in no time….. you know what will happen.
And then in all these believing and working, stay humble to acknowledge the giver of your SLAY!! Ain’t nobody slay like my Jesus ayee!! Best believe that.
Now I leave you to take in some of my SLAY? Yes?
Who knows where this famous /infamous pose is from? Lool (I wasn’t ready)

This was my birthday dress last Year. I wore a animal print sandals with it then(see below)
so I styled it differently this time(these photos were also taken last Year). I think these orange sandals were my fav sandals for last year, so now I’ve laid it aside to breathe..Lol. minimal jewelry and popping lips…ohh the flower on my hair? Idk
What do you guys think?😁😁;)
PS – I got an official blog photographer!!!!!!!! Finally, I can’t Wait to do proper style posts for y’all now! It’s all too exciting with his badass camera (I promised you quality). Watch this space..haha
Ohh and I remember I talked about having a new hairstyle on trying new things some posts back? I never got to show you guys :|. See my hair below
This is my first time doing braids in that size and color!! I’m the chief of big box braids so doing this was a whole new thing. So many people have been talkmbou “finally”😂😂😂 . It’s that deep oo, me I don’t like stress and I know how to maintain my big braids for long so….
Anyway, this color accentuates my skin appaz and I always seem to glow (well That’s What people have said). Plus it’s lighter in weight so I think I’m in the “small braids club” now!! Any small braids club member here?? * waves *
I’ve had it from January till now and baby still fresh ayee… *inserts today’s selfies *
Don’t abuse my cloth so fast, its a scrub :|. Is my hair beaurifuu or yes??
OK I’m done ranting. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week. It’s ” falantine ” week ooo…. who gon val me? Comment, email, tweet, dm me…all means allowed this weekend haha
Thanks for taking time to read this blog post.
