Hey Guys,
So today I’m going to share my thoughts on a rather sensitive topic. I know this can go on and never ending as everybody has their various opinions on this issue. Please note I’m in no way attempting to judge anyone just merely saying what my take is on this and your opinions are HIGHLY welcome 🙂
Let’s begin shall we?
I would suppose you reading this post right now knows what being “homosexual” means? If you dont kindly open up your dictionary today 😛
I can love you (you here refers to a homosexual), and play with you and what not but the fact never changes that I view homosexuality as a SIN. Plain Simple.
I’m a Christian and I follow the teachings of my Bible which makes it clear that all forms of homosexual acts is a sin.
Take for example, Leviticus 18:22, 23: “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.”
Old Testament some people would say.. well see this also
Romans 1:18-31, especially verses 26 and 27: “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”
1 Corinthians 6: 9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind”
I could go on with more verses of the scripture but I would stop there! Now there are those who like to say and believe that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality and a LOT of verses are cited (out of context) and the verses used to explain the wrongness of this act are explained away. But you see, I believe the world merely wants to change God’s words and teachings into something more suitable for their sinful desires. Nevertheless, The Bible still states homosexuality as a sin.
Clearly God created “Adam and Eve” not “Adam and Steve”. So homosexuality goes against the created order of God. Having the feelings I wouldn’t consider a sin.. the devil is always at work, always trying to stay busy but when you begin to act on these desires that is when it becomes a sin. And what is the wages of sin? DEATH
The bible passage in Romans stated above , read the full scripture, God’s judgement here for this sin is that “they will be given over to their passions”. This means that their hearts are now allowed to be hardened by their sins and therefore they can no longer see the wrong in what they are doing. And without an awareness of sinfulness, there will be no repenting and giving it over to Christ.
Now some people will love to say it is genetic.. Lol well I’m sorry to disappoint you darlings but till this moment there hasn’t been found any gene that can be pointed out as being the cause of this behaviour and until such is found, I’m sleep on that angle.
Concerning Morality, there would seem to be no moral issue if a person can’t help his or her sexual orientation. And yet having a desire is not the same as acting on that desire (which is certainly evident in heterosexual attractions), so moral agency remains. To be sure, our inner desires to do what is forbidden–our “concupiscence”–are sinful and testimony to our fallen condition. Nevertheless, the will is operative.
So well there you go..
Just like we tackle every other sin, we can also take this ..all of it.. to the Lord. His Grace IS and will ALWAYS be sufficient for all. We were all born in sin and fallen short of the Glory but His grace freely now abounds.
Now that is the end of my long talk. Lol

Plain and simple really. As Christians we are to live by Gods word. Homosexuality is a sin. God describes it as an “abomination” in the bible. It is a sin like any other sin. We cannot judge homosexuals. We can only love and pray for them. We are to love the unconditionally.

Whenever humanity refuses to accept God’s moral code as plainly explained in the Holy Bible; whenever we as mortal men fail to acknowledge God as Supreme and Judge; when we become the all in all to ourseves, then we approve any lifestyle we choose. That is the major problem with those who see nothing wrong with sexual immorality.
With the rate humanity is going, those who have sexual attraction to children and animals will also begin to campaign for their rights. They will tell anyone who cares to listen that its their “sexual orientation”. Then one President somewhere will give bite to their yearnings for political advantage.
We are taught to love all by Christ. So we love all regardless of their sexual orientation but we know such lifestyle of homosexuality is not approved by God.

How about another plain and simple : FREEDOM OF RELIGION.
Or should Muslims get to stone you for not following their scriptures or not wearing a burqa?
There is freedom of religion quite alright But this is my opinion from the basics of my religion and I’m not stoning anyone neither forcing anyone to accept my opinion. Just stating it as i see it.
And how would you feel if someone told you that only whores don’t wear burqas?
As long as I know I’m no whore..really I could care less!! Ain’t gonna do nothing to me..
You know that if you are to follow that law in LEVITICUS, you have to follow the rest right?

Because I am sure you are among the kinds of people who would say “Old Testament Laws are invalid” but will go back to that old testament to pick laws to prove a point
I know that very Well!! And NOT sorry to disappoint you But I’m not cherry picking. I don’t consider all the laws in the Old testament invalid so there you go. Next time be sure to ask before jumping to unnecessary conclusions. 😁
Fantasy, why do you use what your Bible says to judge others? If you did not have a religion how will you judge homosexuality?
Like I stated above..I’m not judging anyone. But if I didn’t have my religion, I would use my sense of morality which still sees it as wrong.

No I don’t think so!!
Oh well my point is that there are people who will act a little different from others but that don’t make them bad.
